Behind The Scenes

I have been working behind the scenes to fix things on my website here. I have had a few issues, that I am not sure where I am going to get information from. I may have to change WordPress themes, as this one is not allowing my sidebar to show up on any of my subpages, and my settings are set to show, yet it is not πŸ™ I am not sure why it isn’t but it has annoyed me a bit.

Dear God,
Give me the patience to fix the things I need to fix. I know not all things can be fixed in an instant, but sometimes my patience wears down.

I added a plugin on the sidebar to show a random Bible quote, I love that.

Off-topic, in my last post I said that the website was born on the 15th, and that is wrong, it was actually on the 14th, on Valentine’s Day! I knew the date wasn’t right but I didn’t bother to check. I also previewed this post, I usually do as I am writing, I noticed that the quote is huge. I don’t like it is that huge, and I don’t think I can change it unless I edit the theme itself. Not sure what I am going to do.

Two days ago, I received my NIV Lifehacks Bible, it is a study guide Bible. I have not dived into it yet, but I am pretty excited to start a routine of Bible studying. Here is a picture and I will also include a link to it if anyone is interested, I also should include the ISBN # to make searching easier for it. The ISBN is 978-0-310-08118-0.

I was having some issues with finding a plugin for my images. In my other blog, I have it so the image pops up with a black background and you can scroll right or left to view them, but they would all show up on the blog post. I don’t have the time to look for more plugins right now, so this one will have to do. For now, I am using Visual Portfolio, Posts & Image Gallery, it is the free version. So that is my new NIV Lifehacks Bible.

I had hoped to get into it tonight but things came up. Earlier in the day, I fed Daisy, and afterward, she did a bit of whining because she likes me to sit with her on the couch and pet her, so I did. She fell asleep LOL. It gave me a chance to catch up on my Bible reading, which made me happy. Sadly I did not take any of my Bibles, so I read on my phone app. Better than not reading.

This is from last year, but it is pretty much a repeat of today haha. My husband took that picture. I love her so much and I cannot help giving her what she wants. Along with her buddy Lily in the picture below. I love them both so much.

They are both so precious. So I guess I got off track, but I think that it is all I am going to share for now. Take care.

Stay Blessed
